Job summary

the company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Safety Detection Precision team. You will build core systems that review detections and surface events to customers, and improve precision with AI-driven triage and autonomous workflow management.

You will work across backend, data, and AI components, collaborating with product, design, and ML infra to turn real-world outcomes into feedback loops that improve model performance and customer trust.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience on backend or distributed systems.
• Experience shipping production systems that solve real customer problems.
• Strong focus on customer experience linking technical decisions to value.
• Experience designing and building large-scale, high-throughput systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve core systems that review safety detections and determine which events are surfaced to customers.
• Improve detection precision by identifying ambiguous cases, deflecting low-value reviews, and automating triage where confidence is high.
• Work at the intersection of backend systems, data, and AI-driven decisioning to improve product quality and review efficiency.
• Partner with product, design, AI and ML infra to turn real-world outcomes into model feedback loops and higher-quality detections.
• Own complex projects end-to-end from design through rollout, measurement, and production iteration.
• Use AI-assisted engineering workflows to accelerate prototyping, debugging, and iteration while maintaining code quality.
• Raise the bar for quality, operability, and clarity across the Safety platform.
