Ledgy is hiring for an Software Engineer on the AI Systems team in a role focused on building the Ledgy Agent, MCP server, and platform capabilities to embed AI safely across domains. You will design tools, skills, context, and orchestration for the agent and contribute to measurable improvements in accuracy and observability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with strong TypeScript/Node fundamentals across backend and frontend.
• Built and shipped agentic or LLM-based software to production (agent, assistant, or chat product).
• Designed the agent itself: tools, context, prompt engineering, state, and agent loop.
• Implemented evals, tracing, and feedback to measure and improve system performance.
• Stays current with foundation labs and broader AI community to inform product decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Ledgy Agent, the in-app agent, and its orchestration.
• Shape MCP server to integrate equity into AI workflows.
• Measure agent quality using evaluations, tracing, and live usage feedback.
• Scale the AI platform for reliability, cost, and latency as usage grows.
• Collaborate with customers, product, and design to determine Investment in features.
