Job summary

ExTrac AI is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the AI team and build Co-Analyst and related analytical AI features. You will own services end-to-end across a Python and Go codebase, while collaborating with data and ML teams to productionize agentic systems and retrieval-based capabilities.

You will work on agent orchestration, retrieval, graph analytics, and streaming pipelines, delivering features weekly and maintaining high standards for latency, cost, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with production-grade services.
• Proficiency in Python; working knowledge of Go.
• Experience with agentic systems, LLM apps, or production retrieval.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and databases.
• CI/CD, IaC, and cloud experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate production backend services in Python/Go.
• Own end-to-end services and their evolution.
• Design APIs with clear contracts and versioning.
• Manage storage concerns: schema, indexing, and access patterns.
• Lead system design and architecture discussions.
• Operate deployments, observability, and production reliability.
• Collaborate with analysts, ML team, and product to ship features.
