Job summary

ExTrac AI in London is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the AI team, building Co-Analyst and analytical AI features. You will own services end-to-end across Python and Go, contributing to agent orchestration, data pipelines, and production-grade systems.

You will work with analysts and ML researchers to ship features weekly, ensure reliability, latency, and cost efficiency, and help scale the agent ecosystem across multi-language data and large-scale retrieval.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with production-grade services.
• Proficiency in Python, with working knowledge of Go.
• Experience building agentic systems, LLM applications, or production retrieval.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and databases.
• Experience with asynchronous code, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with feature flags and trunk-based deployment.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve the agent loop: context assembly, tool selection, sub-agent orchestration.
• Develop analytical AI features from network construction to summary delivery.
• Run experiments behind feature flags to prove improvements against live analyst traffic.
• Define what better means and decide when to ship or pivot.
• Collaborate with ML team and analysts to deploy production-ready capabilities.
