Job summary

Lenovo is seeking an Advisory Engineer, AI Security to lead the security architecture and assurance of AI models, AI-enabled products and development platforms in the Chief AI Office. You will define secure-by-design patterns, perform reviews, and enable adoption across global initiatives.

The role requires translating risk findings into prioritized technical requirements and delivering measurable outcomes with strong collaboration across engineering teams and security partners.

Qualifications

• This role requires delivering complex security initiatives across the product lifecycle.
• Experience leading security architecture reviews and remediation in SDLC.
• Knowledge of AI security threats and mitigations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI Security Architecture and Assurance roadmap with priorities and milestones.
• Define secure-by-design standards and reference architectures for AI models and AI platforms.
• Lead security reviews, threat modelling and assurance for high-risk AI systems.
• Set model assurance requirements for third-party and open models, including provenance and supply-chain risk.
• Define security requirements for AI tooling and partner with teams on implementation.
• Support AI security incidents and translate lessons into improved controls and guidance.
• Occasional domestic and international travel (approx. 5%).
