Job summary

Lenovo is seeking an experienced Advisory Engineer, AI Security to lead the security architecture and assurance across AI models, AI-enabled products and development platforms. You will establish secure-by-design patterns and drive remediation across global engineering teams.

This role requires hands-on design of security architectures for AI systems in cloud environments, APIs and data pipelines, with collaboration across Lenovo's AI Governance and Product Security Office.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering security initiatives from assessment to operation.
• Experience leading security reviews, threat modelling and remediation.
• Understanding AI security threats and mitigations.
• Ability to translate security findings into engineering requirements.
• Relevant security certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI Security Architecture and Assurance roadmap, defining priorities, milestones, deliverables and success measures.
• Define secure-by-design technical standards, reference architectures and control patterns for AI models and AI platforms.
• Lead security architecture reviews, threat modelling and technical assurance for AI systems and products.
• Establish model-assurance requirements for third-party and open-weight models, including provenance and supply-chain risk.
• Define security requirements for AI tooling; collaborate with operations on implementation and lifecycle management.
• Support AI security incidents and translate lessons into improved controls and guidance.
• Occasional domestic and international travel (approx. 5%).
