Job summary

Nexperia Manchester is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to advance high-reliability power protection for AI/data centre systems. You will collaborate on 48V distribution architectures and support hyperscale computing initiatives with the global sales team.

The role demands a degree in electronics or physics, plus expertise in circuit simulation and PCB design. Travel globally is required, occasionally on short notice.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics or a related field.
• Proven experience working on AI infrastructure or Data Centre power systems.
• Proficient in circuit simulation tools (SIMPLIS, LTspice, PSpice, etc.) and PCB design.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-reliability power protection solutions for AI and data centre server racks.
• Understand 48V power distribution architectures and support new business development in hyperscale computing.
• Provide expert technical support to global sales teams and customers to resolve power delivery challenges.
