Job summary

Nexperia is seeking a Senior Principal System Architect to define and drive the architecture of next-generation integrated power products including SPS, hot-swap controllers, eFuses, and MOSFET solutions. You will translate customer needs into differentiated product concepts and specifications, delivering high-performance power solutions for automotive, industrial, and consumer applications.

This highly visible technical leadership role requires deep expertise in power semiconductors,

Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
8–12 years of experience in power semiconductors, power electronics, or related field.
Deep understanding of power MOSFET design, characteristics, and operation.
Strong knowledge of gate driver design and interactions with power devices.
Experience with integrated power products such as Smart Power Stages, Hot-Swap Controllers, eFuses, or similar technologies.
Strong understanding of system-level power electronics architecture and optimisation.
Experience developing electrical, thermal, and system-level models using SPICE, LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink, or SIMetrix.
Understanding of semiconductor packaging, assembly technologies, and reliability methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate customer requirements into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

Define system architectures and product concepts for next-generation integrated power solutions.
Translate system-level requirements into detailed product specifications and performance targets.
Define and validate interactions between gate drivers and MOSFETs, including switching performance.
Develop system-level electrical, thermal, and performance models to evaluate feasibility.
Identify and resolve technical challenges in integration, performance, measurement, and reliability.
Collaborate with device design, packaging, validation, applications, and product engineering teams.
Support customer engagements and translate requirements into product solutions.
Lead root-cause investigations to improve performance and reliability.
