Job summary

Nexperia Manchester is expanding its Applications team with a Senior Application Engineer to develop high-reliability power protection solutions for AI and data centre server racks. You will work on 48V architectures and partner with the data centre team to support hyperscale computing opportunities.

The role requires hands-on design and simulation, with opportunities for global travel, career growth, and contribution to a leading semiconductor manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in AI infrastructure or data centre power systems.
• Proven expertise in circuit simulation tools and PCB design.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate hot-swap protection and eFuse for high-density racks.
• Characterise MOSFET Safe Operating Area and thermal performance.
• Create reference models, demo boards, and docs for 48V power distribution.
