Insight Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an experienced Forward Deployed AI Engineer in Bristol.

This senior role leads the design, delivery and scaling of high-impact AI solutions for strategic customers within a hybrid model with travel across the EMEA region. You will work at the intersection of software engineering and applied AI, turning complex business challenges into secure, scalable AI solutions from discovery to production deployment, with hands-on coding and collaboration with

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering software, AI, machine learning or applied AI solutions within complex, customer-facing enterprise environments.
• Strong software engineering capability using languages such as Python or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience building solutions using modern foundation models, LLM APIs and associated AI platforms.
• Practical experience with generative AI patterns including RAG, tool/function calling, structured outputs and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of complex AI engagements, owning implementation, deployment approach, technical risk and engineering priorities.
• Work directly with customers and senior stakeholders to translate ambiguous business challenges into practical AI solutions.
• Rapidly prototype, test and iterate AI solutions with customers to validate assumptions, feasibility and value.
• Design, build and deploy production-grade generative AI, agentic and other applied AI solutions.
• Remain hands-on throughout delivery, contributing code, integrations, evaluations and technical implementation.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to translate customer requirements and constraints into appropriate designs.
