Job summary

Indicium AI is seeking a senior technical leader to head its Forward Deployed Software Engineering practice. You will lead a team that embeds with client engineering organizations to transform how software is built in the AI era.

You will own the practice end to end, including engagement quality, scalable playbooks, team building, and client/partner relationships. This role requires a lifetime software engineer with CTO-level experience and a passion for AI-driven transformation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with senior leadership experience (CTO/VP/Head of Engineering).
• Proven ability to build and shape engineering teams and cultures that ship.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team of Forward Deployed Software Engineers embedded with client teams.
• Define and evolve the approach to AI-native engineering transformation across Claude Code adoption and SDLC tooling.
• Own the technical and operational bar for engagements by shaping engagement architecture and ensuring lasting capability change.
