Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to push the frontier of AI across the organisation. You will work with ambitious teams and partners, turning insights into durable improvements while debugging live workflows and designing evaluation frameworks.

You will prototype prompts and agents, synthesize findings for Product Engineering and Platform teams, and build repeatable tools to raise the quality bar across multiple use cases, not just one-off fixes.

Qualifications

• Experience building AI applications, agents, or evaluation systems.
• Ability to reason clearly about model behaviour in complex workflows.
• Fluency prototyping, debugging, evaluation design, and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Experience switching between configuring tools and prompting agents.

Responsibilities

• Understand critical workflows with internal teams and partners to identify high-impact AI opportunities.
• Prototype and iterate on prompts, agents, and workflows to reveal system behaviour and value.
• Synthesize findings into reproducible evaluations, benchmarks, and artefacts for product and platform teams.
• Build repeatable tools and evaluation methods to raise quality across multiple use cases.
