ExTrac AI in London is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the AI team, delivering Co-Analyst features and full-stack services in Python and Go. You will own end-to-end services, from ingestion to production, while collaborating with ML and data teams to ship production-grade capabilities.

The role emphasizes agentic AI work, system design, and reliable, observable back-end services in a production environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with production-grade services end-to-end.
• Proficiency in building services in Python, with working knowledge of Go.
• Experience with agentic systems, LLM apps, or production retrieval used by real users.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve the agent loop: context assembly, tool selection, sub-agent orchestration.
• Develop analytical AI features alongside the agent system and ensure production readiness.
• Run experiments behind feature flags to prove improvements and measure impact.
