Job summary

ExTrac, a decision intelligence company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to enhance Co-Analyst and analytical AI features. You will own end-to-end backend services in Python and Go, focusing on agent orchestration, retrieval, and scalable data pipelines.

The role spans design, experimentation, and production-readiness with fast-paced feature delivery. You will collaborate with data and ML teams to productionize models, ensure latency and cost efficiency, and maintain robust APIs and storage

Qualifications

• Proficient in building production-grade backend services.
• Experience with Python and Go in a multi-service architecture.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems patterns and trade-offs.
• Experience integrating LLMs and AI features in production.
• Knowledge of APIs, databases, and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate end-to-end backend services in Python/Go.
• Advance agentic and analytical AI features with robust design.
• Run experiments and measure improvements with live analyst traffic.
• Define contracts, versioning, and scalable APIs for internal and external use.
• Develop long-running streaming pipelines and data processing components.
