Job summary

Lendable is building cutting-edge fintech AI platforms in the UK, with a focus on scalable chat and document processing. You will shape production-grade AI systems, extending chat capabilities and automating complex account actions with LLMs and in-house pipelines.

You will collaborate with a small, autonomous team to deploy robust AI workflows, evaluate performance, and iterate on retrieval and prompting strategies. Hybrid work and global scale are supported in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering skills with production systems experience.
• Hands-on experience using LLMs in real workflows.
• Experience designing and improving prompts, retrieval pipelines and agent workflows.
• Understanding of business processes and judgment on where AI can automate tasks.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and test hypotheses with partial information.
• Clear communication and stakeholder influence ability.

Responsibilities

• Improve the chatbot’s quality and expand account actions it can complete autonomously.
• Expand in-house document extraction pipelines for faster, more accurate parsing.
• Design LLM-driven workflows to simplify case management.
• Find opportunities to replace manual work with AI systems.
• Own solutions from discovery through deployment, evaluation and monitoring.
