Job summary

Lendable is a fast-growing fintech in the UK building a world-class technology platform. This role focuses on applied AI engineering, enhancing our chatbot, document parsing pipelines and LLm-driven workflows to automate complex customer interactions.

You will work on end-to-end AI projects, from discovery to deployment, testing ideas quickly and scaling successful solutions across product lines. Hybrid work and opportunities for in-person collaboration are available.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering skills and production systems experience.
• Hands-on experience using LLMs in real workflows.
• Experience designing prompts, retrieval pipelines, agent workflows and evaluations.
• Understanding of business processes and how AI can simplify them.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems, test hypotheses and progress with partial information.
• Clear communication and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Improve the chatbot's quality and expand the account actions it can complete autonomously.
• Expand in-house document extraction pipelines to parse faster and more accurately.
• Design LLM-driven workflows that simplify case management.
• Identify opportunities to replace manual work with AI systems.
• Own solutions from discovery and prototyping through deployment, evaluation and monitoring.
