Job summary

Smartsheet Inc. seeks a Sr. Forward Deployed AI Engineer to lead complex AI deployments from discovery to production in the UK market. You will architect multi-agent workflows, design client-specific MCP packs, and build Deployment Kits used by 200+ solutions consultants and partners.

You will mentor junior FDEs, drive the intelligence loop, and present field findings in weekly strategy sessions. This remote-eligible role emphasizes collaboration and scalable AI delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading complex enterprise technical engagements.
• System architecture expertise spanning enterprise systems, cloud infrastructure, and AI services.
• Ability to create reusable technical assets that others use in production.
• Strong written and verbal communication; Deployment Kits as portfolio.
• Travel approximately 25–50% of the time; eligible to work in the UK on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end AI deployments and manage customer relationships.
• Architect multi-agent solutions and customize MCP resource packs.
• Develop Deployment Kits and ensure quality for consultants.
• Mentor junior FDEs and drive the intelligence loop.
• Present findings at weekly Applied AI strategy sessions.
• Coordinate solutions enablement across teams.
