Job summary

Smartsheet is seeking a senior engineer to lead complex AI deployments across enterprise systems. You will architect multi-agent solutions, design client-specific MCP resource packs, and build Deployment Kits that scale to 200+ solutions consultants and partners.

You will mentor junior engineers, own the engagement lifecycle from discovery to production deployment, and drive the intelligence loop through field-based learning and strategic memos.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years production software engineering, including 3+ years deploying AI/ML to production.
• Deep production LLM experience: multi-agent orchestration, MCP/tool-use, RAG optimisation, evaluation frameworks, agent deployment at scale.
• Eligible to work in the UK on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-system AI deployments end-to-end; architect, build, validate, and manage customer relationships.
• Own the AI workshop program for your pod; customize modules per customer and translate outputs into production requirements.
• Mentor junior FDEs on customer engagements, code reviews, and Deployment Kit quality.
