Job summary

Standard Life is seeking a senior, hands-on engineer to lead the design and delivery of secure AI and automation solutions within the Pensions & Savings domain. You will work across discovery to production, mentor engineers and set reusable patterns while collaborating with product and business teams in a multidisciplinary environment.

You will build scalable AI/automation capabilities using cloud services, ensure security, governance and cost efficiency, and contribute to shaping engineering

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating AI/automation solutions in production.
• Hands-on across generative AI, cloud APIs, data sources and integrations.
• Experience with MLOps, CI/CD and cost optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and delivery of secure AI/automation solutions for production.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, security, risk and operations.
• Provide technical leadership through reviews, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
