Job summary

RSM UK is seeking a Senior AI Automation Engineer to design and deliver production-grade AI systems within our Tax Technology team. You will build Python services, automate workflows, and integrate AI tools across enterprise platforms.

The role focuses on creating scalable, observable solutions in a governed environment and leading technical design and reviews. Hybrid working and a generous benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong Python engineering skills with APIs, testing, modular design and async processing.
• Experience building production-grade applications in an enterprise environment.
• Comfortable with AI/LLM tools and automation in financial/regulatory contexts.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI agents and multi-step workflows for internal tax use cases.
• Develop Python-based services and automation pipelines for production use.
• Integrate AI systems with internal platforms via APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Orchestrate workflows across Copilot Studio, Azure AI / Foundry, and internal systems.
• Build reusable connectors, tools, and agent capabilities; implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, observable, and maintainable in enterprise environments.
• Lead technical design and code reviews.
