Job summary

David Kennedy Recruitment partners with a global technology services and consulting organisation in London to recruit a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer focused on Agentic AI. The role blends hands-on AI development with enterprise software integration and direct client engagement.

You will design, build, deploy and operate production-grade AI agents and multi-agent systems, owning delivery from discovery through rollout, with a strong emphasis on reliability, security and scalability in client

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on software engineering experience using Python, TypeScript or Java
• Proven experience developing applications using large language models (LLMs) and AI agents
• Hands-on experience with at least one agentic AI ecosystem (SDKs or frameworks)
• Strong understanding of agent orchestration, tool calling, RAG, prompting and multi-agent workflows
• Experience integrating APIs, databases, enterprise applications and cloud services
• Strong software architecture, debugging, testing and integration skills
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions

Responsibilities

• Design and develop production-ready AI agents and multi-agent workflows
• Build AI solutions using platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google and Microsoft, with LangGraph
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, cloud services and internal systems
• Implement retrieval pipelines, automation workflows and agent orchestration
• Develop evaluation frameworks, automated testing, monitoring and production safeguards
• Troubleshoot AI model, integration, deployment and performance issues
• Own technical delivery from discovery and prototyping through production deployment
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for reliability, security, maintainability and scalability
