Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Senior Agent to lead the delivery of a major highways and infrastructure scheme in Norfolk, with hybrid working during design phases. Report to the Construction Manager, you will provide engineering leadership from pre-construction through to site delivery and handover.

You will manage a team of Agents, Senior Engineers and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and programme compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in civil engineering/highways delivery
• 3+ years in a site management role (Agent/Senior Agent)
• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• CSCS card and SMSTS certification
• Experience with SRN/National Highways environments and traffic management
• Knowledge of bulk earthworks, pavements, drainage, and bridges
• Formal TWC and/or Appointed Person certification
• Chartership (MICE/IEng/CEng) pursued or in progress

Responsibilities

• Provide safety-first leadership across all disciplines
• Lead and mentor Agents, Senior Engineers, and site staff
• Support early contractor involvement and design reviews
• Review RAMS, ITPs, and Temporary Works procedures
• Monitor progress, programmes, costs, and site surveys
• Coordinate resources and subcontractors on site
• Perform or oversee lifting operations as needed
