About the role

The Publishing and Agency landscape is going through significant transition, requiring us to remain agile and nimble to service our clients and maximize revenue potential. The ability to provide cross-portfolio and cross-media solutions is increasingly important, as is offering a single point of contact for our clients.

As a Senior Agency Account Manager, your core objective will be to develop and grow revenue from new, existing, and lapsed advertisers across the Immediate portfolio through effective management of an agency portfolio. The role involves selling digital (both programmatic and direct display), smaller budget partnerships, and advertorials/native content. You will also support our print revenues by pitching print opportunities where appropriate.

You will act as an ambassador for Immediate, living and breathing your network of agencies, helping us increase our agency footprint and create a deep, meaningful proposition.

Responsibilities
Personal Agency Portfolio
  • Grow ad revenue across multiple lines by identifying and developing new commercial opportunities for advertisers
  • Develop strategic relationships with agencies at all levels and departments, including strategic planning, planning, and buying
  • Coordinate and manage pitches for new business and existing clients
  • Work closely with commercial teams to identify and establish key advertiser strategies, including contact, insight, and opportunity plans for each advertiser throughout the year
  • Attend a minimum of 4 external agency meetings per week
Audience and Product Sales
  • Deeply understand our audience proposition and serve as an example to the team in developing audience sales strategies
  • Use a consultative approach leveraging audience data to position Immediate as a key partner, transitioning from activation to planning
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in consumer publishing and/or digital advertising
  • Ability to cross-sell across multiple media channels and titles
  • Understanding of the agency and publisher landscape
  • Proven track record of driving revenue individually and as part of a team, working towards pre-agreed performance targets
  • Excellent relationships with agency buying and planning teams
  • Strong communication and presentation skills across all group sizes and levels
