Job summary

Safran Actuation Systems UK Ltd is seeking an Aftermarket Contracts Manager to join the Contracts team in the Birmingham area. You will draft, negotiate and manage aftermarket contracts, advise on compliance, and support the Global Customer Services team to deliver on time and to the required quality.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with at least 5 years' experience in aerospace contracts, strong commercial acumen and excellent negotiation and stakeholder management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in contracts.
• Experience drafting, negotiating and managing aerospace contracts.
• Experience in aerospace Aftermarket or MRO services.
• Strong commercial awareness and risk mitigation.
• Experience with customer-facing teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Problem-solving with practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, approve and negotiate a wide range of aftermarket agreements.
• Act as contractual focal point for Aftermarket, guiding on risk, compliance and obligations.
• Support Business Development and Customer Services in developing contractual solutions.
• Lead customer contract negotiations and maintain relationships.
• Review and manage contract-related claims, disputes and change requests.
• Mentor and support Contracts Officers to promote best practice.
