Job summary

CesiumAstro in Milton Keynes is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to build pipelines for aerospace engineering roles and collaborate with hiring managers to attract top talent for satellites, spacecraft, and related systems.

You will source, assess, and negotiate offers, develop high-impact recruiting strategies, and work closely with engineering and business staff to drive growth in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited university or institution.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical recruiting within the aerospace, space, and/or defense industries.
• Experience recruiting for aerospace, electrical, mechanical, software engineering positions.
• Strong networking skills and the ability to connect with passive candidates.
• Experience with full life cycle recruiting (screening candidates, consulting with hiring managers, facilitating interviews, and extending offers).
• Proven ability to use recruiting techniques, such as cold calling candidates, planning and executing networking events, locating industry experts and coming up with creative ways to interact with them, and developing original focused sourcing campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with hiring managers to understand the technical requirements of each role and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Proactively source, identify and engage top-tier technical candidates for various roles in engineering, software development, aerospace, and other relevant disciplines.
• Effectively assess the technical ability and aptitude of candidates for complex engineering roles.
• Consult with hiring managers regarding candidate backgrounds and make recommendations.
• Engage in full-cycle recruitment from screening applicants to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit to negotiating and extending offer packages.
• Utilize various sourcing techniques, including job boards, social media, industry conferences, and networking events, to build a strong pool of qualified candidates.
• Assist with a wide array of additional functions as necessary within a high growth startup.
