Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Aeroderivative Turbine Mechanical Field Service Engineer to be the first contact for global customers on-site. You will lead activities, ensure HSE compliance, and perform installation, maintenance and repair of Aeroderivative gas turbines at customer sites.

The role requires extensive field experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel globally up to 70%. You will coordinate activities, train staff, and ensure safety and quality across complex

Qualifications

• 6+ years of work as a mechanical technician on aircraft engines, aero-derivative engines or other turbine technology.
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to lead site activities with a focus on safety, compliance and quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for site activities and supervise skilled labor to ensure safety and quality.
• Perform mechanical/hydraulic maintenance, repair or replacement of parts.
• Use hand tools and small power tools for turbine maintenance.
• Coordinate sub-contractors and communicate with customers/internal teams on site.
• Troubleshoot mechanical/hydraulic problems on Aeroderivative turbines.
• Oversee, overhaul and commission Aeroderivative products at customer sites.
