Job summary

Sulzer GT Aero Services Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Engineer (Field Service) to lead gas turbine maintenance projects from Aberdeen. The role involves planning, mobilisation, execution and close-out across UK onshore/offshore sites, with regular international travel.

You will partner with Field Service Engineers and customers to ensure safe, efficient delivery and high technical standards. The position offers autonomy, a strong salary, and a comprehensive benefits package including

Qualifications

Experience with industrial gas turbines or rotating equipment.
Experience in energy, power generation, oil & gas or related sectors.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to travel and support onshore/offshore projects.

Responsibilities

Leading the preparation and execution of field service projects
Developing work packs, execution plans and RAMS documentation
Acting as the key technical interface between Sulzer and customers
Supporting field service teams before, during and after site activities
Providing technical guidance on gas turbine maintenance and troubleshooting
Participating in site surveys and customer visits
Reviewing and improving field service processes and documentation
Supporting outage planning, mobilisation activities and reporting
Identifying opportunities to improve customer support and generate future business
