Job summary

Sulzer GT Aero Services in Aberdeen seeks an experienced Project Engineer (Field Service) to lead field service projects, develop work packs and RAMS, and act as the technical interface with customers. You will support teams on site, guide maintenance activities on gas turbines, and help plan outages across the UK and abroad.

The role requires travel to onshore/offshore sites and close collaboration with engineers, customers and internal teams to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial gas turbines or rotating equipment.
• Knowledge of field service environments in energy sectors.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and execution of field service projects.
• Develop work packs, RAMS and execution plans.
• Act as technical interface between Sulzer and customers.
• Support field service teams before, during and after site activities.
• Provide technical guidance on gas turbine maintenance.
• Participate in site surveys and customer visits.
• Review field service processes and documentation.
• Support outage planning and mobilisation.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer support and generate future business.
