Job summary

New College Swindon is hiring a Senior Admissions Advice and Guidance Officer to guide prospective students through the education journey and manage the admissions process.

You will interview applicants, support course offers, lead College Experience and Open Days, and represent the College at schools and events. A flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver Information, Advice and Guidance to diverse audiences.
• NVQ Level 2 in Advice and Guidance or commitment to gain it.
• Level 2 English and Maths or commitment to achieve within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice, guidance and information to prospective students and applicants.
• Interview students and support appropriate course offers and placements.
• Lead the delivery College Experience, Open Days and other admissions events.
• Represent the College at schools, parent evenings and external events.
• Work with curriculum teams to support applications and student recruitment.
• Provide support and operational oversight to the wider Admissions, Advice & Guidance team.
