Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust is recruiting two Nurse Team Leaders into our Pre-operative Assessment service to safeguard outstanding care and exemplary service for our patients.

After POA training and induction, you will conduct nurse-led clinics and autonomously manage your patient caseload, while collaborating with the team across Lister Hospital and QEII to improve preoperative pathways and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Conscientious nurse with leadership potential.
• POA experience preferred but training will be provided.
• Strong customer care and stakeholder communication.
• Willingness to learn and develop within the POA service.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Nurse-led clinics and manage a patient caseload.
• Support cross-site working across Lister Hospital and QEII.
• Participate in developing and delivering POA services.
