Role Summary:

Champion and promote continuous improvement in Group Revenue Operations. Deliver change and realise actual benefits. Liaise with the Business and fellow team members to ensure this is achieved. Plan, prepare, and track all improvements and initiatives. Report on progress and update/create process documentation. Secondary role – support the Client Revenue billing team in managing the end to end process of turning contracts into revenue, looking after a stable of Clients, associated contracts, budgets and financials, billing and act as a point of contact for client revenue operational matters

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and support with existing improvement initiatives, recording and tracking requirements, dependencies and benefits gained
  • Reporting results of all improvements and performance against expected/estimated gains
  • Point of contact for process improvements requirements, suggestions, feedback, testing and training
  • Work closely with and support Team Manager to ensure key initiatives are being looked at and prioritised and any impacts are communicated within the team and with the business
  • Management and logging of User Acceptance testing on new processes post implementation of the new billing engine
  • Support with BAU responsibilities of the Client Revenue Billing team including maintenance of contracts, budgets, master data, billing data, contact information
  • Provide clients with budgetary estimates to aid prompt provision of PO numbers, issue timely invoices and resolve queries as required
  • Secondary validation checks for colleague invoices and cover as necessary

Job Specifications

Education

  • GCSE/O-level Maths and English

Relevant Experience

  • Financial administration background desirable but not essential
  • Record-keeping and problem-solving

Essential:

  • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Computer literate with a willingness to learn a variety of systems
  • Ability to understand the detail behind processes, identifying/escalating issues
  • Able to work to SLAs and deadlines effectively

Desirable:

  • A familiarity with large ERP systems and Workday
  • Proven experience in Financial processing including some basic accounting

Essential:

  • A desire to drive change and improvements, and ability to analyse processes and identify key areas for focus
  • The ability to develop positive and productive working relationships
  • Effective use of own time and commits to realistic deadlines
  • Confident and enthusiastic with regards to managing performance and goals

Desirable:

  • Be aware of team workloads and readily available to assist colleagues
  • Adaptable with an ability to change direction and priorities if required
