What is the opportunity?
RBC Private Wealth are seeking a Senior Administrator to join the Wealth Planning team. The Senior Administrator provides forward facing operational, administrative and coordination support to the Wealth Planning team, ensuring effective delivery of high-quality client service.
This role will proactively manage the day-to-day implementation of the wealth planning recommendations and client instructions with a strong emphasis on adviser support, client experience and operational efficiency. The role also supports the delivery of wealth planning services, acting as a key liaison point between advisers, clients, relationship managers, Private Wealth Associates, internal partners, and external product providers.
What will you do?
Provide client operational support acting as a key point of contact for client administration and implementation queries.
Prepare and submit all documentation relating to RBC account opening, including pensions, trusts, international bonds and tax advantaged investments.
Proactively manage the pipeline of client transactions and wealth planning recommendations to ensure timely execution and delivery.
Liaise with third party providers, investment managers and client onboarding teams to coordinate onboarding of third-party providers, client instructions and transactions.
Support Private Wealth Associates with Client withdrawals and pension income queries.
Ownership of team mailbox to ensure timely execution of client instructions and revenue reconciliation.
Support Wealth Planners by managing the operational workflow required to execute financial planning strategies.
Maintain accurate and compliant records within internal systems and CRM.
Support data entry and reconciliation across cloud reporting systems to ensure data integrity.
Coordinate the scheduling and preparation of client review meetings.
Attend client meetings with Wealth Planners as required and produce follow up notes and work to a high standard.
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to streamline client operational delivery.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Previous experience in private wealth management, private banking or investment management client operations.
Strong administrative and organisational skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Excellent organisational, pipeline management and client service skills.
Working knowledge of private wealth products, platforms and operational processes.
Nice-to-have
Experience of working with international/res non dom clients.
Familiarity with FCA regulatory environment including consumer duty and suitability process.
