Job summary

Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust are seeking an enthusiastic Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join the Acute Stroke Service. You will provide advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management for patients with suspected or confirmed acute stroke and TIA across HASU and stroke wards.

Qualifications

Registered general nurse or allied health professional with_{}UK registration.
Masters in Advanced Practice or equivalent.
Experience in stroke, neurosciences or acute medicine.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced clinical assessment for acute stroke/TIA patients.
Autonomous clinical decision-making in time-critical situations.
Manage a caseload with escalation and discharge planning.
Support thrombolysis and thrombectomy pathways and imaging coordination.
