Qualifications

• Professional registration with a relevant professional body.
• English at GCSE grade C/4 or Functional Skill Level 2 and Maths at GCSE grade C/4 or Functional Skill Level 2.
• Expectation to undertake and complete an MSc level Advanced Clinical Practice.
• Recognised mentoring qualification or equivalent experience.
• Evidence of ability to study at MSc level.
• Non-medical Prescriber.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day management of Stroke/TIA SDEC and acutestroke; front door and in-patient strokes.
• Manage Stroke/TIA advanced practice caseload with minimal supervision from stroke senior medical colleagues.
• Demonstrate progression towards the four pillars of Advanced Practice (Clinical, Leadership, Education, Research).
