Zusammenfassung

Allianz Commercial is seeking a Senior Actuarial Expert to join the Reserving team. You will ensure robust IFRS 17 loss reserves, derive forward-looking views, and collaborate with underwriting, claims, pricing and other stakeholders globally at a senior level.

You will drive best-in-class actuarial methods, address inflation effects on reserves, and mentor junior colleagues in a hybrid, multinational environment.

Qualifikationen

• ACAS membership required and understood within actuarial practice.
• Minimum 8 years of business experience in the P&C industry with focus in Reserving.
• Strong knowledge of market dynamics, regulations, reporting requirements (reinsurance, underwriting).
• Finance and Insurance know-how with cross‑departmental thinking and acting.
• Ability to identify patterns and root causes in complex data and processes.
• Basic balance sheet understanding on IFRS 4 and IFRS 17 and closing/reporting topics.
• High level of analytical ability and clear communication of results to stakeholders.
• Experience with AI/ML to improve processes is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Ensure adequate loss reserves are estimated for IFRS 17 basis.
• Derive a normalized loss ratio and validate NLR via reserve reviews.
• Support monthly closings and present to Loss Reserve Committee.
• Drive innovation to improve forecast quality and predictability.
• Peer review work and provide training to junior colleagues.
