Allianz Commercial is hiring a Senior Actuarial Expert to lead reserving activities in a hybrid London role. You will perform independent actuarial analysis, develop forward‑looking views, and present to C‑Suite level, collaborating with underwriting, claims, pricing and ESG teams.

You will ensure robust IFRS 17 loss reserves, derive normalized loss ratios, and contribute to monthly closings. The role requires 8+ years in P&C reserving and proficiency in R, Alteryx, Tableau and Python, with ACAS

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years business experience in P&C reserving.
• ACAS or equivalent actuarial qualification preferred.
• Strong IFRS 17 knowledge and reserving techniques.
• Experience with data governance and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Ensure adequate loss reserves are estimated for your lines on IFRS 17 basis.
• Support normalization of loss ratio and validate booked NLR via reserve reviews.
• Assist monthly closings and present to the Loss Reserve Committee.
• Drive innovation to improve forecast quality and predictability.
• Peer review work and provide guidance to junior colleagues.
