Markel International is seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to broaden actuarial expertise and influence business decisions across the UK portfolio. You will deliver actuarial insight for reserving, pricing, and portfolio management while collaborating with senior stakeholders in a high-visibility role.

You will join a team that supports Markel's International organization across multiple locations, with flexibility between remote and office settings.

Qualifications

• Strong experience supporting pricing and reserving activities.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and build strong relationships with Finance, Underwriting, and Capital.
• Proficient in a range of actuarial methods across reserving and pricing.
• Experience presenting analyses to senior management and influencing business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide actuarial insight to the product team for the Specialty and UK underwriting division.
• Maintain strong relations with UK underwriting teams, focusing on pricing and reserving activities.
• Own core processes to produce deliverables for external purposes.
• Support the wider Markel International Actuarial team.
