Job summary

Gold Care Homes' Peverel Green Care Home in Hatfield Peverel seeks an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to plan and run daily activities for up to 60 residents, balancing social, intellectual and spiritual wellbeing.

You will collaborate with managers and care teams, adapt to outings and events, maintain records, and foster a warm family-like atmosphere where every resident feels cared for.

Qualifications

• Experience organising group activities for older adults.
• Ability to plan daytime and evening activities for residents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Build friendship with residents to help them adjust to life in a care home.
• Deliver a high level of personal and psychological care to residents.
• Maintain communication with the Manager, Senior Care Assistants, Chef and relatives.
• Plan and coordinate daytime and evening activities and outings.
• Observe health and safety requirements and ensure confidentiality.
• Evaluate resident activity goals and document outcomes.
