Job summary

Gold Care Homes’ Peregrine House in Tottenham is seeking a part-time Activities Coordinator (25 hours per week) to plan and run engaging daily and evening activities for residents. You will tailor programmes to support social, intellectual and spiritual wellbeing and coordinate outings to maximise resident benefit.

You will maintain records, ensure health and safety, and work closely with staff to deliver high-quality care and vibrant daily life for the home’s residents.

Qualifications

• Plan daytime and evening activities for residents to promote engagement.
• Support residents’ social, intellectual and spiritual wellbeing through meaningful activities.
• Coordinate outings and events with flexibility to meet resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with residents to help them adjust to life in a care home.
• Deliver personal and psychological care in a professional manner.
• Maintain clear communication with the Manager, care staff and relatives to ensure smooth operation.
• Complete required records and manage confidentiality of residents and staff.
• Plan activities and ensure safety and health requirements are followed.
• Encourage resident participation and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with the team to support staff and residents daily operations.
• Undertake additional training to enhance contribution to the home.
