Job summary

Peregrine House in Tottenham, part of Gold Care Homes, is seeking an Activities Coordinator for 10 hours weekly. You will plan and run activities, supporting residents' social, intellectual and spiritual wellbeing and assisting with outings and events to maximise residents' enjoyment.

The role requires flexibility, good communication with the care team and an emphasis on person-centered care for frail elderly residents. £13.50 per hour offered.

Qualifications

• Plan and organise activities for all residents throughout the day.
• Support residents' social, intellectual and spiritual well-being through engaging activities.
• Assist in individual, group and fundraising activities to promote residents' aspirations.

Responsibilities

• Build friendship with residents to help them adjust to life in the home.
• Deliver a high level of personal and psychological care to residents.
• Maintain communication with the Manager, Senior Care Assistants, Chef and relatives.
• Complete records as required and agree record-keeping with the manager.
• Plan daytime and evening activities and coordinate with other services in the facility.
• Assess and document resident needs and activity goals for the care plan.
