Job summary

Gold Care Homes is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator to plan and organise daily and special events for residents in our Bletchley home. You will support social, intellectual and spiritual well-being, helping residents participate and enjoy meaningful activities.

Flexible hours, including outings, may be required to maximise resident benefit. You will work with the home team to deliver person-centred activities, maintain records, and ensure safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and delivering activities in a care home or similar setting.
• Ability to support social, intellectual and spiritual well-being of residents.
• Strong communication with staff and relatives.

Responsibilities

• Build friendship with residents to help them adjust to life in the home.
• Deliver personal and psychological care to residents in a professional manner.
• Maintain communication with Manager and staff to ensure smooth operation.
• Plan daytime and evening activities; coordinate with other services.
• Ensure health and safety requirements are followed.
• Undertake additional training as needed.
