Job summary

Reed Practice in the UK is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to manage a portfolio of clients and deliver high-quality accounting and tax services. You will act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring proactive advice and strong relationships.

Working in a collaborative, partner-led environment, you will prepare statutory accounts, VAT and tax returns, while maintaining billable client relationships and contributing to a varied client portfolio.

Qualifications

• Membership or qualification in AAT, ACA or ACCA.
• Experience preparing accounts under FRS 102/105.
• Experience with VAT and personal/corporate tax returns.
• Excellent client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for portfolio of clients and manage relationships.
• Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and companies.
• Prepare VAT returns and tax returns for clients.
• Liaise with HMRC and clients to resolve queries.
• Support bookkeeping and management accounts production.
