Job summary

Reed Practice are recruiting an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee client work and lead the accounts team within a regional UK office of a national brand. You will support the Director with day-to-day management while contributing to business development.

Your tasks include meeting clients, delivering accounting and tax services, mentoring staff, reviewing work, and prioritising workflows to meet deadlines. AAT/ACA/ACCA or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified - AAT, ACA or ACCA - or by experience.
• Essential - experience at some point in your career, of providing accounting services within a UK practice, with knowledge of FRS 102 (section A) and FRS 105.
• We will consider those who have team management skills looking to step up to an official manager position or those managers feeling stale, seeking a fresh challenge looking to play a pivotal role in a progressive business.

Responsibilities

• Meeting with clients, providing accounting and tax services.
• Manage, mentor and support members of the accounts team.
• Review work prepared by staff of varying levels of experience.
• Delegate and prioritise workflow across the team to ensure deadlines are met.
• Monitor team performance, providing coaching and technical guidance where required.
