Job summary

RG Consultancy in Warrington is seeking a senior accounts assistant for a full-time, permanent role. You will report to the financial controller and oversee transactional accounts end-to-end.

The role covers purchase ledgers, invoice coding, supplier reconciliation and weekly payment runs, with responsibilities across HMRC, pensions and payroll processes in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with purchase ledgers and supplier reconciliation.
• Knowledge of HMRC processing, wages and pensions.
• Strong organisational and numerical abilities.
• Attention to detail and reliability in a small- to medium-sized team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of purchase ledger and liaise with suppliers.
• Ensure correct authorisation and coding of high volume purchase invoices.
• Reconcile supplier statements.
• Process employee expenses, wages and dealing with HMRC and pensions.
• Weekly payment runs.
• Bank and account reconciliations.
• Administration duties and demands of the business.
