Job summary

Gen II is seeking a Senior Accountant for a 6-month FTC in Guernsey. The role delivers financial reporting for a high-profile private equity client across multiple fund structures, and involves coordination with auditors and statutory deadlines.

You will prepare and review fund statements under UK GAAP/IFRS/US GAAP, manage working papers, and supervise junior staff while ensuring ISAE 3402 control compliance. Agile working is possible, with a hybrid arrangement.

Qualifications

• Actively studying ACCA/ACA or equivalent; fully qualified preferable but not required.
• 2–3 years accounting experience, preferably in financial services.
• Experience producing financial statements to UK GAAP, US GAAP or IFRS.
• Experience developing and coaching others on a one-to-one basis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual financial statements for PE fund and related entities under major GAAP (IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP).
• Prepare quarterly fund financial statements, investors capital accounts and other reports.
• Review journal entries and maintain general ledgers.
• Compile working papers/NAV Packs for all financial statements prepared.
