Job summary

Autograph Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing Cornwall practice. The role involves technical accountancy work, client management and team leadership, with ownership of key client relationships and active involvement in the day-to-day running of the office.

The ideal candidate will have ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent with at least 5 years’ practice experience, strong technical skills across accounts, tax and VAT, and proven ability to manage client

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in accountancy practice.
• Strong client relationships and mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and finalising statutory accounts for various entities.
• Preparing and reviewing Corporation Tax returns.
• Preparing Self Assessment tax returns.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
• Dealing with payroll and CIS.
• Producing management accounts.
• Liaising directly with clients and HMRC.
• Managing client queries and deadlines.
• Leading client tax review meetings.
• Mentoring junior staff.
