Job summary

Autograph Recruitment is partnering with a respected accountancy practice in Devon to recruit an Audit & Accounts Senior. The role offers a varied portfolio, including SMEs and charities, with the chance to develop long-term client relationships.

You will lead audits from planning to completion, prepare statutory accounts and corporation tax returns, and manage workloads while mentoring junior staff. ACA/ACCA qualification and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• A proven track record of audit and accounts work in an accountancy practice.
• Experience delivering statutory accounts for limited companies and charities.
• Ability to prepare corporation tax returns with accuracy.
• Strong communication and attention to detail; able to manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits from planning through to completion.
• Prepare statutory financial statements for clients including charities.
• Prepare and review corporation tax returns.
• Manage own workload and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Coach and mentor junior staff and contribute to team initiatives.
