Job summary

Autograph Recruitment is seeking an experienced Client Manager to oversee a portfolio of clients across Devon and North Cornwall. You will conduct year-end meetings, provide advisory support, and ensure accurate accounts preparation and tax work, while mentoring junior staff.

This role offers flexible working arrangements and clear progression opportunities, with potential to lead a senior unit within the practice as you grow in responsibility and influence.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience (QBE).
• Currently working in an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and UK tax.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients across Devon and North Cornwall.
• Conduct year-end meetings and provide proactive advisory support.
• Oversee accounts preparation and review, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Handle corporate and personal tax work.
• Review and finalise accounts for a variety of clients.
• Support and mentor junior staff, reviewing their work and providing guidance.
• Attend client premises as required to provide on-site support.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties to support the wider practice.
