Job summary

Autograph Recruitment is partnering with a well-established practice in Bridgwater to recruit an experienced Accounts Senior. You will manage a diverse client portfolio, deliver high-quality accounts and tax services, and mentor junior staff while building strong client relationships.

The role offers growth opportunities within a supportive team environment, with a focus on statutory accounts, tax compliance, and cloud accounting using Xero and QuickBooks.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Minimum three years' post-qualified experience within an accountancy practice.
• Experience with statutory accounts and tax compliance.
• Experience managing client relationships.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors.
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts.
• Assisting with corporation tax and personal tax compliance.
• Preparing and submitting tax returns and liaising with HMRC where required.
• Providing advice and support to clients on day-to-day accounting matters.
• Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Using cloud accounting software including Xero and QuickBooks.
