Job summary

Streets Steele in Bristol is seeking an experienced Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant to join the Accounts & Tax team. The role focuses on statutory accounts and Corporation Tax for a mixed client base, with senior duties including reviewing junior work and supporting development.

You should bring 2-3 years in UK practice, be part-qualified ACA/ACCA, and have strong attention to detail, organisational and client-facing skills. Hybrid working is available after probation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Part-qualified ACA or ACCA is required.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts for limited companies and CT returns.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies.
• Prepare Corporation Tax returns and computations.
• Prepare Personal Tax returns and liaise with clients.
• Submit accounts to Companies House and meet deadlines.
• Support clients with accounting queries and manage own portfolio.
• Senior role: review work of junior team members and provide feedback.
